Advertising Design
During the 4th and 5th Semesters, students chose the components of their course individually from a number of options, including Advertising Design, Editorial Design, Multimedia and Product Design.
In Advertising Design lessons, students create advertising campaigns for products, companies or social issues using their graphic design skills, combined with their understanding of chosen target audiences. The many various advertising channels of communication are explored, from traditional media such as posters, magazine advertisements and television commercials, to the latest unconventional marketing techniques such as guerilla and viral advertising.
The fundamentals of Advertising Design are creative and original ideas, made relevant through a good understanding of the product, the target audience and the consumer benefit promised and then communicated with exciting, inspired graphic design.
Through our contacts with professional design studios and clients in both the business and cultural environment of Berlin and Germany, we are often able to integrate real projects and design competitions into these course.
